Just a little detail: the pic you mention as University metro station.. it’s actually called Technical University built and designed in 1979 (Soviet period). While there is a newer station of State University (2017) which looks different.

This is a great overview for new visitors to Tbilisi. A couple of things to note are that the craft beer scene has truly evolved over the last year. There are at least a half a dozen great craft breweries that are always showcasing new and inventive beers.

Secondly, if you’re interested in engaging with the expat, digital nomad and English-speaking Georgian community…. Head over to LOKAL co-work and co-living. Although currently closed due to covid lockdown, LOKAL has a wide variety of events and activities to help introduce you to the local community. We also serve a huge variety of Georgian craft beers
