Hi Danny, I love these detailed corrections, thank you! I reminded myself of the bridge name by quickly consulting Google Maps which, being in Portugal, was translated into Portuguese. Oops, that is shown in the proper language now. I plan to write an article about Basque Country as a whole that goes into the unique cultural aspects, which were a big motivation for my visit 🙂 I highly enjoyed your city and hope to visit Basque again!

Just some mistakes. Getxo is not a neighbourhood or district of Bilbao. It’s the 3rd most populated town and independent municipality of the Bilbao Metropolitan area. Then the Bizkaia Zubia (Bridge of Biscay) which you translated into Portuguese as Ponte da Biscaia for an uncertain reason links the 19th Century Upper Class residential area of Getxo with the Medieval town of Portugalete at the left bank. It was built by Alberto de Palacio Elissague a Basque Architect who was somehow a disciple of G. Eiffel.
Regarding the transportation options the metro of Bilbao consists of 3 lines (+2 others under construction) and 4 lines of Urban Train. As well as a tram and urban and provincial bus lines, all of them can be paid by the London-oyster-card-like Barik card. I miss some information about our millenary language as well as our unique and ancient culture which arouse much more interest and mistery among the tourists than all the Game of Thrones stuff. Anyways I appreciate your article and all the cool things you said about my city and my country.

Eskerrik asko!
